This site, djmajd.com, is operated by DJ MAJD through Back to Basics Entertainment, based in Montréal, Québec, Canada. We keep things simple: we collect only what we need to respond to your inquiry and run our business, and we never sell your information.
When you submit the booking form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, phone number, event type, event date, venue and message, along with your consent choice and the language you used. If you contact us by email or phone, we keep that correspondence.
We also use Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies to help us understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally to us. We also use the Meta pixel, which tells Meta (Facebook and Instagram) that a browser visited this site and whether a booking inquiry was submitted, so that our advertising can be measured and shown to relevant audiences. It does not receive the contents of your inquiry.
We do not send marketing newsletters, and we do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. Ever.
Inquiries are delivered to our email and stored in our booking records, both hosted by Google Workspace. The site itself is served by Cloudflare. These providers may process data on servers outside Québec and Canada, including in the United States, and each maintains its own security and privacy safeguards.
We keep inquiry and booking records for as long as needed to serve you and meet legal and accounting obligations. If you inquired but never booked, you can ask us to delete your details at any time.
Under Québec's Law 25 and other applicable privacy laws, you can ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent. Write to info@djmajd.com and we will respond within 30 days. The person responsible for the protection of personal information is MAJD, reachable at the same address.
Cookies on this site come from Google Analytics and from the Meta pixel described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Meta's activity-based advertising in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings. Neither affects your ability to use the site or the booking form.
